I love this band so much that I’ve paid 100 pounds to get my hands on unreleased bootleg material. So, here they are all 5 brand new The xx songs from their performance at Battersea in London on May 18th. Note, that the track “Strangers” might actually be 2 songs in one. The xx have not stated how the tracks are called, I made the names up as it’s easier to differentiate between them when playing them in Itunes. But every track name is inspired by their lyrics. Four of the new songs haven’t been released anywhere in full on the internet yet, so you better kiss my ass for this post!  The xx on, world off…

  9. 30 Day Bon Iver Challenge

    Day 4: Have any merch?


    Yes! My lovely red Wisconsin shirt. I will wear it at least once a week for the rest of my life. Goal is to have 7, one for every day of week. Oh, I have the albums too. But they’re permanently in my mother’s car. She kinda took them from me. Oh well, she’s your typical hipster mother. 

  10. 30 Day Bon Iver Challenge

    Day 3: Have you seen them concert?  (Tell us about it!)

    I finally can say I have!! It has been exactly one week since I experienced Bon Iver live. And yes, it is a major experience. Chills the entire time. It was at Coachella and I was front and center, Justin Vernon singing straight in front of me. The lights were incredible, the mood was perfect, and Justin was amazing. They’re such a fantastic band to see live and they are the #1 on my list of live performances.


    But now since I’ve had a taste, I want more. I need to see them a dozen more times. Come back!!
